Peace of mind from the day I walked in just to have a Quick Look at a car, was left to have a look around. Paul came later to answer any questions I had. We were after a Fiesta for our daughter. We had narrowed it down to age, spec and engine size. Paul found us the very thing. It was the right car, at the right price, MOTd, fully serviced, valeted and delivered. I had found something similar at a supposed discount warehouse at Rotherham who were impersonal in their approach and the supposed bargain price implied by the supermarket effect was exorbitant by comparison. Would happily buy from Paul again and confident to recommend.

In this day and age I think it's really important to support local businesses, so that's exactly why we chose Lowerdale Autos. We were greeted with a smile upon arrival and the service was fab throughout. Our Fiat 500's such a fun thing, it really is a joy to drive. We really can't grumble about a single thing and count ourselves lucky to have these guys on our doorstep.

We were dealt with by a gentleman called Paul who gave us time on our own to look around the vehicle we were interested in and was then available to answer any questions or queries that we had. We found him to be polite to the point, fair and honest. After purchasing the vehicle when we returned to collect, they had completed everything they said they would do, the paperwork was all in order and ready. All in all a very pleasurable experience. All their stock on the forecourt seemed to be in very good condition, genuine vehicles

Bought a car from here last week, the experience was by far the best I've ever had. I was acknowledged on entering the yard, and told the cars were open to look at. I was then left alone and not pressured into anything. The gentleman who helped us out was helpful, professional and friendly. When we decided it was the car for us we were able to complete the transaction over the phone, due to the distance and this was completely hassle free. Bought a car in July, 2 days after having it I had a flat tyre (I accept this could of been done after buying), but 3 weeks after I nearly crash my car as I can’t change gears (on a 60 road) and needs a new gear box, luckily Lowerdale did this for me as I was still under 1 month warranty but this left me without a car for a week. A months later (After warranty time) I drive to set off from work and it won’t start so I try jump it, no luck , have to get towed home and the car needs a new alternator. So another 3 days without a car, now the keys have broken, thought it was a quick job to fix (just the battery) but all inside of the key is rusty and needs replacing! Also car needed oil a week after buying and MOT is only until December and I can’t see it passing as it seems to cause me nothing but hassle! Yes they did fix my gear box and it was done quickly considering what a big job it is but you don’t expect to need it doing that soon after! They clearly don’t check their cars properly!

A fantastically informative and very welcoming, relaxed service was provided to me on buying my new car here. As a stressed (due to the final death of my very old, but much beloved car) professional woman, who was much pressed for immediate reliable and good quality transport for work, the owner of Lowerdales was a balm to my stretched-to-limit nerves with his non-pressurising chat and calming presence. My work needs and preferences in my car choice was understood perfectly & immediately, and was fully met in a new car offered with minutes. Needless to say the fabulous on-the-road preparation service was second to none. I was happily, and very gratefully, back at work with minimum disruption, in hours. This family business based in Barnsley was fantastic helping me to decide between 2 cars which to purchase without any pressure sales I was unsure between a Nissan and a Vauxhall but The salesman’s knowledge and experience ensured he explained fully the pros and cons on both vehicles and left me to decide - thank you appreciated I was also offered finance at a competitive rate The deal was done with trading my previous car in and I was really pleased with the offer which was £200 better than previous garages had offered - the valeting has to be seen to be believed brought the car as if it was new

I have had numerous faults with the car since day one, I wasn't happy with Lowerdales response which was essentially unless the car dies there is nothing we can do, currently going through my finance lender to see if I can get a resolution from them instead. Poor after sales from Lowerdale to say the least.
